I grew up obsessed with Greek tales and mythology. While a lot of these stories are folklore, Greece has no lack of National sites and heritages that attract millions of tourists annually. These sites are so numerous around the city of Athens that the entire city could be referred to as a gallery or museum. Some of the most popular heritage sites in Athens are:

Lastly, while Greece is exquisite and all that, it is largely budget-friendly. There are lots of local taverns and accommodation options that allow you a comfortable stay while saving costs and enjoying your vacation. Some view it as the most affordable but really fun vacation site in Europe.
